Please read our terms of use carefully before using the AiRA platform.
Scope
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the AiRA platform (accessible at aira.jaim.ai and ai-remote-academy.com), operated by JAIM GmbH, Meckenheimer Allee 87, D-53115 Bonn, Germany.
AiRA is a knowledge and networking platform for Artificial Intelligence, offering online courses, webinars, workshops, events, and certification programs. By registering for an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These terms apply to all users of the platform, including learners, instructors, companies, and visitors.
User Accounts
To access certain features of the platform, you must create a user account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with third parties.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
Courses & Content
Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, documents, images, and other content provided on the AiRA platform are the intellectual property of JAIM GmbH or their respective content creators. This content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Permitted Use
Upon enrollment in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display course materials.
- Record, download, or create derivative works from course content unless explicitly permitted.
- Share your course access with others or allow unauthorized access.
- Use course content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Certificates
Certificates issued upon course completion are personal and non-transferable. AiRA is an AZAV-certified and ISO 9001-certified education provider. Certificates reflect the successful completion of the respective course and are issued in the name of the registered participant.
Payments
Certain courses and services on the AiRA platform may require payment. By purchasing a course or service, you agree to the following:
- All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include the applicable statutory value-added tax (VAT).
- Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed (e.g., for company invoicing).
- We accept payment methods as displayed during the checkout process.
- Course fees that are funded through employment agencies (Bildungsgutschein) are subject to the respective funding conditions.
Cancellation & Refunds
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, in accordance with EU consumer protection regulations. The right of withdrawal expires once the course content has been fully accessed or the digital service has been fully provided, provided the consumer has given prior consent. Refund requests should be directed to info@jaim.ai.
User Conduct
When using the AiRA platform, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or extract platform content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality or security.
- Submit false reviews, ratings, or misleading information.
Violations of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
Liability
The AiRA platform and its content are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive to ensure the accuracy and quality of all course content, JAIM GmbH does not guarantee:
- That the platform will be available without interruption or error-free at all times.
- That course content is complete, accurate, or up-to-date in all respects.
- Specific learning outcomes, career results, or certifications from third parties.
JAIM GmbH is liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damages resulting from intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages and only in cases of breach of material contractual obligations.
The above limitations do not apply to liability for injury to life, body, or health, or to mandatory statutory liability.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@jaim.ai. Upon account deletion:
- Your access to purchased courses will be revoked.
- Your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention requirements.
- Certificates already issued remain valid.
JAIM GmbH reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Bonn, Germany, insofar as legally permissible.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
